About the Role 
  
NinjaOne is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Sales to lead our Federal Sales team. This leadership role is critical in developing and scaling our go-to-market strategies for our Federal prospects and Enterprise deals. As the Sales Manager, you will guide a team of Account Executives who possess product expertise and strong sales acumen. In this role, you will work closely with senior sales leadership, product, engineering, and field teams, as well as our customers, to drive successful sales strategies across the NinjaOne platform. This highly visible role requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, sales strategy and business leadership, essential for achieving our continued record growth in the marketplace. 
  
Location - Virginia or Maryland  
  
What You’ll be Doing 
  • Lead and inspire the sales team to exceptional quota attainment 
  • Hire, train, and manage a team of Account Executives focused on new revenue 
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to close business and guide your team to success 
  • Develop the sales, product, and industry skills of each team member 
  • Coordinate, direct, and monitor the pipeline of your team by tracking and reporting weekly activities
  • Work with the leadership team to create strategies and processes for driving new business 
  • Provide support and direction for the team’s sales efforts, strategizing with them in their territory and closing deals
  • Motivate team members through creative incentives 
  • Other duties as needed 
  
About You 
  • 3-5 years of proven sales leadership experience 
  • 5+ years of proven successful experience in a B2B sales role, in SaaS model focused on selling to Federal agencies 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • Consistent track record of overachievement against quota as an individual contributor 
  • Proven track record of success managing a sales team 
  • Ability to liaise with and motivate individuals at all levels. Comfortable working with multiple teams and stakeholders - from individual contributors to senior executives across internal and external teams 
  • Experience managing and improving sales KPIs 
  • Experience hiring, developing, and retaining talent
  • Excellent communication and influence skills, and the ability to build cross-functional relationships 
  • Highly organized with the ability to work on many projects concurrently 
  • A Salesforce enthusiast that uses data to help the team be successful; experience with SalesloftGovspendGovwin, and other tools a plus 
  • Flexible - You not only cope with change, but you also thrive on it and can shift gears easily and guide your team through change as well
  • Polished verbal and written communication skills with ability to adapt to multiple audiences
  • Authentic customer service mindset, you care about the experience you and your team create

Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to location, market demands, experience, job-related knowledge, and skills. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage and PTO. For roles based in Maryland, the base salary hiring range for this position is $200,000 per year with On Target Earnings of $400,000 per year.
